Article: MARYLAND DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE OFFERS NUTRIENT MANAGEMENT PLAN WRITING AND CERTIFICATION WORKSHOPS

The Maryland Department of Agriculture issued the following news release:

Registration is now being accepted from farmers interested in becoming certified to write nutrient management plans for their own operations. The Maryland Department of Agriculture (MDA), in cooperation with the University of Maryland Cooperative Extension, will hold a series of classes tailored to specific farm operations including pasture-based operations and farms where commercial fertilizer and manure are used separately or in combination.
