WASHINGTON, Oct. 15 -- Rep. Jerry Weller, R-Illinois, has introduced a resolution (H.Res. 733) "recognizing the importance of improving the high school graduation rate of foster youth."
The resolution, introduced on Oct. 10, was co-sponsored by Reps. Jim McDermott, D-Washington; Phil English, R-Pennsylvania; John Lewis, D-Georgia; and Michele Bachmann, R-Minnesota. It was referred to the House Education and Labor Committee.
