The Kentucky Department of Parks issued the following news release:
The Kentucky State Parks have purchased 12.5 acres of land to add to John James Audubon State Park in Henderson.
Parks Commissioner J.T. Miller said a study will be conducted of how best to use the new land. The purchase could allow the park system to create another entrance and exit on Watson Lane to relieve traffic that uses the current entrance and exit onto U.S. 41, pursuant to Kentucky Transportation Cabinet approval and funding by the ...
