Article: LOS ANGELES CITY ATTORNEY ROCKY DELGADILLO FILES MULTIPLE CRIMINAL CHARGES AGAINST 37 UNLICENSED CONTRACTORS

The City of Los Angeles issued the following news release:

Los Angeles City Attorney Rocky Delgadillo today announced his office's Corruption, Fraud, and Enforcement Unit, as part of an ongoing partnership with the Contractors State License Board (CSLB), has filed charges against 37 unlicensed contractors in 36 cases as part of his office's latest crackdown on unlicensed contractors across the city for abandoned and shoddy work.

"I will not allow L.A. homeowners to be bilked out of their hard-earned money by con artists who flout the law, and cut corners to turn a profit," said Delgadillo, who's made consumer protection one of his top priorities as City Attorney for Los Angeles.
