Article: Utah Inventor Develops Corneal Topography Slit Beam System

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 19 -- Lloyd Allred of Bountiful, Utah, has developed a corneal topography slit image alignment.

According to the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A corneal topography slit image alignment system, includes a half-slit projector for projecting half-slit images onto a patient's eye 16. Half-slit images are aligned into a single slit image. A camera captures an image of the aligned slit image. Processor including a memory connected to the half-slit projector and the camera analyzes the alignment of the half-slit images."
