Article: STATE REP. PARKER ENCOURAGES STUDENTS TO APPLY FOR HOUSE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

Pennsylvania State Rep. Cherelle L. Parker, D-Philadelphia (200th District), issued the following news release:

State Rep. Cherelle Parker, D-Phila., encourages students to apply for the Pennsylvania House of Representatives 2007 Scholarship Program and said applications for the program are now available in her constituent service office or through her Web site.

Parker said the program, which was established in 2003, provides four-year scholarships to high school seniors equal to the value of one semester of tuition for any college or university within the state's system of higher education per year.
