The Pretrial Services Act: 25 Years Later

THE 25TH ANNIVERSARY of the Pretrial Services Act of 1982 has special significance for the District of Maryland because this District was one of the 10 original "demonstration" pretrial services agencies in our federal system. The officers during the early years of pretrial services were true pioneers.
