Article: California, Nevada Inventors Develop Electromagnetic Interference Filtered Connector

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 23 -- Robert A. Stevenson of Canyon Country, Calif., and Richard L. Brendel of Carson City, Nev., have developed an electromagnetic interference (EMI) filtered connector.

According to the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An EMI filtered connector includes a plurality of conductive terminal pins, a grounded conductive connector housing through which the terminal pins pass in non-conductive relation, and an array of feedthrough filter capacitors.
