The city of Chapel Hill issued the following press release:
Mikyoung Kim, an environmental artist and landscape architect contracted by the Town of Chapel Hill, will visit Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 22-23, to begin design concepts for two key areas of downtown Chapel Hill - Streetscape and the Lot 5 development project.
Streetscape is long-range plan to enhance the pedestrian experience in Chapel Hill with sidewalks, crosswalks, lighting, benches, public art and plantings, along with other improvements in the public rights-of-way along Franklin and Rosemary Streets, including cross streets from Merritt Mill Road to Henderson Street.
