ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 26 -- Frank Yang, Guo-Hua Chen, Jin-Shou Fang and Kuei-Wen Cheng, all from Taipei, Taiwan, have developed a field emission display.
An abstract of the invention, released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office, said: "A self-adhesive frame is applied in package of field emission display, the manufacturing method for the same and the package method by the same being also discussed in the specification. The self-adhesive frame can be designed as an independent component and suitable to be manufactured independently.
