Pennsylvania State Rep. Stan Saylor, R-York (94th District), issued the following news release:

Families across America are commemorating the sixth anniversary of September 11 on Tuesday. On Wednesday, Rep. Stan Saylor (R-York) is asking York County residents to pay tribute to local emergency responders through personal reflection and a simple "thank you."

"If you see an emergency responder on Wednesday, take a minute to thank them for their courageous work and sacrifice on behalf of our community," Saylor said. "These men and women keep our families safe. The least we can offer is a genuine 'thank you'."
