The U.S. Embassy issued the following press release:
The U.S. Ambassador to Brazil, Clifford M. Sobel, announced the official list of Brazilian public school students selected to participate in the 2008 Youth Ambassadors Program. This is the sixth edition of the program and, this time, will take thirty-five Youth Ambassadors to the U.S. for a two-week program, from Jan. 12-26, 2008.
Over 3,000 students from the public school system in all 26 Brazilian states and the Federal District participated in the selection process coordinated by the Embassy's fifty-seven partner institutions.
