NEW DELHI, India, Oct. 28 -- THE GURGAON Police have asked mall authorities to step up vigil during the festive season. The alert has been issued in the backdrop of the recent bomb blasts in Ludhiana and Ajmer. On their part, mall authorities have bolstered surveillance systems and deployed more security guards, bomb and dog squads.
Assistant Commissioner of Police (East) Sumit Kumar said the police held three meetings with malls authorities recently to discuss security arrangements in the "crowd magnets: the malls".
