Hamburg, Oct. 29 -- Brazil is the most successful nation on the football World Cup playing field, but has experienced some frustration as far as hosting the prestigious event is concerned. Brazil, record five-time winners and the only country to have played in every World Cup, can only look back at the 1950 edition on home ground. Germany, Italy, France and Mexico, by contrast, have hosted the world's largest single sports event twice. But unless something goes terribly wrong, Brazil will get the nod from the executive committee of the ruling body FIFA in Zurich Tuesday to host the 2014 competition.
