The city of Tualatin issued the following news release:

Tualatin Police continue to investigate a late night shooting at a local bar that left one man in the hospital.

The shooting occurred at about 1:54am, on October 26, 2007, at the Wichita Pub, located at 8125 SW Nyberg Rd. in Tualatin.

Officer Charlie Asheim was on routine patrol and driving through the lot of the bar when he was flagged down by a person who told him that someone had just been shot inside the bar.

Multiple police units from Tualatin and the surrounding area responded to the bar in an attempt to contain the scene. Responding units were confronted with large crowds of people running around, and out of and away from the ...
