WASHINGTON, Nov. 1 -- Sen. Edward M. Kennedy, D-Massachusetts, has introduced a resolution (S.Res. 359) "congratulating the Boston Red Sox on winning the 2007 World Series."
The resolution, introduced on Oct. 29, was co-sponsored by Sens. John Kerry, D-Massachusetts; Jack Reed, D-Rhode Island; Sheldon Whitehouse, D-Rhode Island; Chris Dodd, D-Connecticut; Joe Lieberman, ID-Connecticut; Olympia J. Snowe, R-Maine; Susan Collins, R-Maine; Patrick Leahy, D-Vermont; and John E. Sununu, R-New Hampshire.
