Article: ATTORNEY GENERAL MCMASTER, HUMANE SOCIETY ANNOUNCE NEW ANIMAL FIGHTING REWARD PROGRAM

The South Carolina Attorney General issued the following news release:

Attorney General Henry McMaster, with The Humane Society of the United States (HSUS), today announced an aggressive new campaign to combat dogfighting in South Carolina. The effort will use a powerful new incentive for people to report evidence of the crime to law enforcement. HSUS is offering up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of anybody involved in animal fighting. This doubles the existing reward amount of $2,500. As part of this effort, McMaster will record a radio public service announcement to publicize the reward program.
