The Florida Division of Emergency Management issued the following news release:
Tropical Storm Noel, located this morning approximately 195 miles to the south of Nassau, Bahamas, and a strong high pressure system over the eastern U.S. continues to impact Florida's Atlantic coast with high-winds, coastal flooding, beach erosion, and dangerous surf conditions. State and local emergency management officials are urging coastal residents, visitors, and marine interests to use extreme caution along the east coast this week and observe all local warnings.
