Article: Rep. Blunt Introduces Federal Consent Decree Fairness Act

WASHINGTON, Nov. 5 -- Rep. Roy Blunt, R-Missouri, has introduced the Federal Consent Decree Fairness Act (H.R. 4041), legislation that would "amend chapter 111 of title 28, U.S. Code, to limit the duration of federal consent decrees to which state and local governments are a party"

The bill, introduced on Nov. 1, has 14 co-sponsors. It was referred to the House Judiciary Committee.
