The House Veterans' Affairs Committee issued the following news release:
On Thursday, the House Veterans' Affairs Health Subcommittee, led by Chairman Michael H. Michaud, (D-ME), held a hearing on the major medical facility construction process for Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). The hearing examined the current process for constructing new VA medical facilities, identified the strengths and limitations of the current process and focused on ways the process could become more effective and efficient.
