ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 6 -- Leonard T. Chapman of North Hollywood, Calif., has developed an ornamental design for a flashlight, the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office announced.

The inventor was issued U.S. Patent No. D554,788 on Nov. 6.

The patent has been assigned to Chapman/Leonard Enterprises Inc., North Hollywood.
