Rep. Sander Levin, D-Mich. (12th CD), issued the following letter:

Dear Chairman Obey and Ranking Member Walsh: As you and your colleagues develop the final House Labor, Health and Human Services and Education Appropriations bill for Fiscal Year 2008 with the Senate, we respectfully request that you adopt a funding level for the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in the final appropriations bill that is at least equal to the Senate level.
