New York State Sen. Charles J. Fuschillo Jr., R-Merrick (8th District), issued the following news release:
State Senator Charles J. Fuschillo, Jr. (8th Senate District) is reminding veterans and their families about the military awards offered by New York State to honor New Yorkers who have served in the armed forces.
"The men and women who defended our country deserve our respect and gratitude, and this is one way that we can recognize their sacrifices," said Senator Fuschillo. "I invite veterans or their families to contact my office and learn more about obtaining these New York State military medals."
