Article: Ohio Inventor Develops Lighting Device with Light Tube

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 16 -- Michael A. Herold of Akron, Ohio, has developed a lighting device having a light tube.

According to the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A lighting device has an elongated light tube to be used in combination with a holster in a manner which will enable the holster to hold the lighting device as may be necessary and also enable the holster to adjust the extent of illumination of the light tube of the lighting device by light received from a light source disposed within the lighting device using magnets."The inventor was issued U.S. Patent No. 7,293,891 on Nov. 13.

The patent has been assigned to Herold Design Group LLC, Akron.
