Article: REP. RENZI ANNOUNCES GRANT FOR GROOM CREEK FIRE DISTRICT

Rep. Rick Renzi, R-Ariz. (1st CD), issued the following news release:

U.S. Rep. Rick Renzi (AZ-1) announced today that the Groom Creek Fire District has been awarded a federal grant of $88,064 to update essential equipment that has fallen into disrepair.

The grant was awarded by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) in cooperation with the U.S. Fire Administration. The Groom Creek Fire District will use the funds to replace out-of-compliance Turnouts and Self Contained Breathing Apparatuses (SCBA).
