Prime Minister Andrus Ansip and Hungarian Prime Minister Ferenc Gyurcsany admitted at their meeting today that the European Union needs a common energy policy which would focus on energy security, efficiency, problems on the internal market, and sustainability.

Prime Minister Andrus Ansip confirmed to his Hungarian counterpart that Estonia considers it very important to develop a common and strong EU internal energy market, for which good preconditions are created by the 3rd energy package.
