Article: British Inventor Develops Cellular Communication System Frequency Planning Method

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 26 -- Andrew Hornsey of Swindon, Great Britain, has developed an apparatus for frequency planning in a cellular communications system.

According to the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office, the invention relates to a "method, and apparatus for, determining frequency planning measurement data in a cellular communications system, comprising: allocating neighbor lists to provide measurement data for frequency planning; wherein the neighbor lists are allocated on a per call basis.
