Diversity will be the focus of the musical "The Secret Garden," which will be presented Nov. 15-18 at the Southern Theatre (21 E. Main St.). The innovative production, which features deaf and hearing actors, is being presented through a collaboration of CAPA, The Phoenix Theatre for Chil-dren, an Opera Columbus.
After a successful American Sign Language (ASL) presentation of "Big River" in 2005, CAPA sought an opportunity to produce a similar adaptation, said the organization's CEO Bill Conner.
"Building a production of this scope is a massive undertaking," Conner said, "and it is terrific to be able to call upon the incredible array of talented artists in Columbus."
