The Georgia Department of Human Resources issued the following news release:
There are approximately 200 children in foster care in Clarke County and the Clarke County Department of Family and Children Services is working to make sure they have a cheerful and memorable holiday season. Beginning Friday, December 7, Clarke County will kick-off its "Angel Project" in partnership with WMLS Radio and to provide Christmas gifts for foster children in Athens and throughout the county.
