Article: Nanotechnology shows cancer cells are 'softer' than normal cells

London, Dec. 3 -- Scientists at the University of California - Los Angeles (UCLA) have used cutting edge nanotechnology to measure the softness of cells, thereby differentiating cancer cells from normal cells in patient samples.

In the study, the researchers, for the first time were able to take living cells from patients and apply nanotechnology to analyze them and ascertain which were cancerous and which were not.
