Article: Washington Inventors Develop Personal Location Information Providing Method

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Dec. 7 -- Harvinder S. Bhela of Woodinville, Wash., Stephen L. Lawler of Redmond, Wash., and Rajesh M. Rao of Sammamish, Wash., have developed a method for controlling access to location information.

According to the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office, the system and method for providing location information associated with a location owner to location consumers. A location server includes an owner profile for controlling access to the owner's location information.
