Pennsylvania State Rep. Scott W. Boyd, R-Lancaster (43rd District), issued the following news release:
The House Republican Health Care Task Force, led by Reps. Kathy Watson (R-Bucks) and Scott Boyd (R-Lancaster), today pushed action on health care legislation prior to the House recess.
"The time to act is now. House Republicans want to attack the health care issue before we break for the holidays. We are in the 11th month of House Democrat control, and virtually nothing has been done to lower the cost of health care or to cover the uninsured," said Boyd. "There are only a few session days left in the year. We have a health care plan that will reduce the cost of health care for everyone."
