WASHINGTON, Dec. 8 -- Rep. Bob Filner, D-California, has introduced the U.S. Olympic Committee Paralympic Program Act of 2007 (H.R. 4255), legislation that would "amend title 38, U.S. Code, to authorize the Secretary of Veterans Affairs (VA) to provide assistance to the Paralympic Program of the U.S. Olympic Committee."
The bill was introduced on Dec. 4. It was referred to the House Veterans' Affairs Committee.
