THE Northern League has pulled together and is undivided.
The professional baseball loop's six owners decided to abolish the system of having a first and second half in favour of teams playing the 96-game schedule with only one division. The four teams with the best overall records will earn playoff berths.
Winnipeg Goldeyes owner Sam Katz made the motion at a league meeting Dec. 6-7 in Nashville, Tenn., and said "it is the right thing to do."
