Article: USDA DESIGNATES PARK COUNTY, WYO., AS A PRIMARY NATURAL DISASTER AREA

The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Farm Service Agency has issued the following press release:

The U.S. Department of Agriculture designated Park County, Wyo., as a primary natural disaster area because of losses caused by drought that occurred from Jan. 1, 2007, and continuing.

Farm operators in Big Horn, Fremont, Hot Springs, Teton and Washakie counties in Wyoming also qualify for natural disaster benefits because their counties are contiguous.

In addition, farm operators in Carbon, Gallatin and Park counties in the adjacent state of Montana also qualify for natural disaster benefits because their counties are contiguous.

All counties listed above were designated natural disaster areas ...
