Article: LIVE RADIO REMOTE TO BENEFIT FIREFIGHTERS' CHRISTMAS PARTY FOR 'CHILDREN IN TRANSITION'

The city of Reno issued the following news release:

Reno Firefighters and Radio Station 103.7 The River will partner for a live radio remote Saturday (December 15) between 1:00-3:00 p.m. at Fire Station 1 at the corner of Evans Avenue and Second Street, to collect new or slightly worn children's coats and new unwrapped toys for the annual Firefighters'Christmas Party For Children in Transition.

The annual children's party, which will be held at Fire Station No. 1 on December 23, is for at-risk disadvantaged and homeless children primarily from Reno's downtown core area to give them an opportunity to make ornaments and gifts, ...
