The Inter-American Development Bank issued the following press release:
A US$450,000 grant from the Inter-American Development Bank's Multilateral Investment Fund will expand access to financial services for urban and rural small businesses in Nicaragua.
The MIF grant will help Banco de Crédito Centroamericano S.A. (Bancentro), a leading Nicaraguan commercial bank with a strong presence in rural areas, launch a program for small businesses.
This is the first project approved under a new MIF program to promote greater access to financial services for small enterprises in Latin America and the Caribbean. The US$10 million program is open to financial institutions interested in working with ...
