Article: Sen. Reid Introduces Influenza Vaccine Security Act

WASHINGTON, Dec. 15 -- Sen. Harry Reid, D-Nevada, has introduced the Influenza Vaccine Security Act of 2007 (S. 2456), legislation that would "amend the Public Health Service Act to improve and secure an adequate supply of influenza vaccine."

The bill, introduced on Dec. 12, was co-sponsored by Sens. Hillary Rodham Clinton, D-New York, and Pat Roberts, R-Kansas. It was referred to the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee.
