Article: U.S., Brazilian Inventors Develop Juice Extractor

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Dec. 17 -- Antonio Cunha, Gilmar da Silva Sena, Jose Luiz Comanini and Jose Marcelo Carvalho, all from Araraquara, Brazil, Andre V. R. Lucato of Sao Paulo, Brazil, and Gregory W. Schrader of Lakeland, Fla., have developed a juice extractor.

According to the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A juice extractor includes an extractor frame, at least one inner side panel that divides the interior into a product material area and a drive mechanism cavity."An abstract of the invention, released by the Patent Office, said: "An orifice beam includes an end extending through a beam opening in the inner side panel.
