Article: Rep. Costa Introduces Climate Neutral Electricity Generation Act

WASHINGTON, Dec. 19 -- Rep. Jim Costa, D-California, has introduced the Climate Neutral Electricity Generation Act of 2007 (H.R. 4612), legislation that would "amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to provide an investment credit for electric generation facilities with climate neutral combustion."

The bill, introduced on Dec. 13, was co-sponsored by Reps. Kevin McCarthy, R-California, and Daniel E. Lungren, R-California. It was referred to the House Ways and Means Committee.
