London, Dec. 19 -- If you think microwaves destroy nutrients, think again. A British expert has said that microwaves destroy bugs and retain more nutrients and vitamins.
"Microwaves rather destroy bugs and retain more nutrients and vitamins," leading British nutritionist Jane Clarke said.
Food absorbs energy from electromagnetic waves when they are micro waved. It destroys bugs and retains more nutrients and vitamins than boiling, Clarke said.
