A 34-year-old woman with Glanzmann thrombasthenia (GT) was referred to our nephrology clinic with suspected nephrotic syndrome. Due to complaints of easy bruising and purpura when she was 2 years old, platelet aggregation tests were performed at that time which revealed GT type I (subcategorized by glycoprotein (gp) IIb/IIIa expression which was 20% of normal).
