THE assignment was to restore Santa's reindeer and save the annual Santa Claus Parade. It was a daunting task -- but Murray Chev HUMMER bodyshop technician Ray Fifi was up to the task.

Fifi has been working in the trade for more than 25 years. He is also a home handyman. Thus, he was the ideal person to tackle the repairs to the reindeer that had been vandalized last winter.

The first two reindeers were delivered to the dealership for repair in late summer. "They had suffered the worst damage," Fifi says of the first two. "Rudolph has lost his nose, mouth and tail and had a broken leg. ...
