ALEXANDRIA, Va., Dec. 21 -- Hansjoerg Schmieder of Oberkirch-Zusenhofen, Germany, Franz Mayer of Oberkirch, Germany, and Klaus Schindler of Renchen, Germany, have developed a tubular component connection arrangement.
An abstract of the invention, released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office, said: "An arrangement for connecting a tubular first component to a second component, in particular for connecting a tensioning tube to an A-pillar of a vehicle body, has a first structural element which forms a receptacle for a screw element and is arranged at an end of the first component that faces the second component, and a second structural element which is secured in such a manner at that ...
