Article: RENO FIRE DEPARTMENT SEEKS BLOOD DONORS TO KEEP STREAM OF LIFE FLOWING

The city of Reno issued the following news release:

The Reno Fire Department is asking area residents to help keep the stream of life flowing by participating in a blood drive on Saturday, December 29 at Reno Fire Station No. 1 at 200 Evans Avenue in downtown Reno.

The blood drive is a partnership between the Reno Fire Department and United Blood Services which will have its mobile blood donor unit at the fire department between 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. According to United Blood Services, it takes about 125 blood donations each day locally to keep up with hospital patients' needs.
