The Clatsop County government issued the following news release:

Clatsop County residents continue to improve their recycling of garbage, according to the latest waste recovery figures from the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality.

In 2006, Clatsop County residents and businesses recovered 35.9 percent of the solid waste generated within the county, according to the 2006 Oregon Recovery and Waste Generation Rates Report. The
