Article: Rep. Boswell Introduces Bill Concerning Food Products from Cloned Animals

WASHINGTON, Jan. 3 -- Rep. Leonard Boswell, D-Iowa, has introduced a bill (H.R. 4855) to "require studies by the Secretary of Agriculture on the effects of food products from cloned animals entering the food supply."

The bill, introduced on Dec. 19, was co-sponsored by Reps. Steve Kagen, D-Wisconsin, and Kirsten Gillibrand, D-New York. It was referred to the House Agriculture Committee and House Energy and Commerce Committee.
