WASHINGTON, Jan. 5 -- Rep. Stephen F. Lynch, D-Massachusetts, has introduced the Human Growth Hormone Restriction Act of 2007 (H.R. 4911), legislation that would "amend the Controlled Substances Act to add human growth hormone to schedule III."

The bill was introduced on Dec. 19. It was referred to the House Energy and Commerce Committee and House Judiciary Committee.
