A one-mile urban nature trail at Patriots Point, the brainchild of planners supported by elected officials, is gaining additional enhancements and is kicking off additional parks/trails activity aimed at bringing interconnectivity to key areas in Mount Pleasant. Welcomed by the bird watching community, and touted as a key component of connectivity between Patriots Point and the upcoming Memorial Waterfront Park, enhancements to the Patriots Point Trail include three new bird watching towers, additional loops, benches and native plants.
