During the past twenty-five years, I have had the privilege of leading an organization composed of the chief executives of Canada's largest and most successful companies and working closely wkh many of our country's most gifted entrepreneurs. Along the way, I have observed much and learned from the experience and example of some 1000 leaders who have participated in the work of the Canadian Council of Chief Executives. I have seen success and failure, triumph and tragedy, the good and the bad.
